Electro Scientific Keeps Dividend Steady

Laser maker has made the same quarterly payout since it began paying dividends in 2012

Laser manufacturer Electro Scientific Industries (ESIO) announced today its third-quarter dividend of $0.08 per share, the same rate it's paid since it began making payouts in 2012.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Sept. 3 to the holders of record at the close of business on Aug. 19. The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.32-per-share annual dividend, yielding 2.9% based on the closing price Electro Scientific Industries' stock.
