Edison International (EIX 1.96%) has announced plans to keep its quarterly dividend steady at $0.3375 per share of common stock.
This is the same amount the electric power distributor has paid shareholders since January, after increasing its payout 3.8% from $0.325 per share.
The company's latest dividend amount will be payable on Oct. 31 to stockholders of record as of Sept. 30. On an annualized basis, Edison's payout totals to $1.35. At the market's close on Sept. 5, the company's stock price was trading at $44.36, which means Edison's current dividend yield is approximately 3%.
