SkyWest Keeps Dividend Steady

The airline operator has made 73 consecutive quarterly dividend payments.

Passenger airline operator SkyWest (SKYW 0.10%) announced today its third-quarter dividend of $0.04 per share, the same rate it's paid since 2008. The payout makes the 73 consecutive dividend payment by the airline operator.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on October 4 to holders of record at the close of business on September 30. The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.16-per-share annual dividend, yielding 1.1% based on the closing price today of SkyWest's stock.
