Natural gas and electricity company Unitil (UTL +0.29%) announced plans to keep its dividend steady this quarter at $0.345 per share. Unitil has paid this amount to investors since commencing its dividend in January 2003.
The company's latest quarterly dividend will be payable on Nov. 15 to shareholders of record as of Nov. 1. Unitil's dividend adds to $1.38 per share on an annualized basis. As of the market's close on Sept. 17, the natural gas company's stock price was $28.37, which means the company currently has a 4.8% dividend yield.
