Antares Pharma (ATRS +0.00%) popped early today -- by as much as 10% -- as investors cheered the FDA approval of Otrexup, its injection for severe active rheumatoid arthritis. Whirlpool (WHR 1.58%) stock dropped nearly 6% after a research firm said the company was unlikely to beat expectations or raise its guidance. Finally, biotech player MannKind (NASDAQ: MNKD) popped about 5% on the news that the company has resubmitted Afrezza, its ultra-rapid inhaled insulin product, for its third attempt at gaining FDA approval.
