These Companies Really Need a Hit This Earnings Season

On Monday's MarketFoolery, host Chris Hill, Motley Fool One analyst Jason Moser, and Stock Advisor Canada analyst Taylor Muckerman look at some companies that could really use a hit this earnings season.

Jason will be watching The Container Store (TCS 5.23%). He notes the company's culture but thinks the stock is expensive and says he isn't sold on the growth prospects. He'd rather look at some other options out there, as he and Chris then bring up retail and examine how much the entire retail industry could use a hit.

Taylor, meanwhile, is watching the volatile stocks of the Nasdaq (^IXIC -0.17%), the only index in the U.S. and Canada that hasn't hit recent highs and also the only index that sold off earlier this year.

Chris notes that while many companies got a pass last quarter because of the weather, that won't be the case this earnings season.
