PicoCELA has strived to develop and implement world best wireless backhaul technology. Our backhaul technology is realized in a unique protocol suite which utilized a dynamic tree routing algorithm and a wireless frame transfer technology to suppress radio wave interference. The technology is protected by more than 20 registered patents worldwide. For 10 or more multi-hop wireless relay set ups, our backhaul delivers stable broadband transmission with low latency. PicoCELA systems have been installed in over 100 sites in Japan and more than 3,000 units are operating every day. We have reduced the LAN cabling by more than 70% at most installation sites resulting in massive installation cost savings. We recently released PCWL-0400, an edge computer with backhaul WLAN and enterprise wireless access points to reduce not only cabling but amount of Big Data to be uploaded.
