(February 11, 1999) -- It has been unusually warm today and I spent almost the entire day outside with the dogs in tow. Irv has been busy in the stables, and we talked quite a while before I walked to the ponds on the farm, which are now mostly thawed. It feels like spring already.
Can't be fooled. I do look forward to spring and summer and wish as much as anyone that they were already here, but I'm going to sleep tonight with my flannels on and my slippers alongside the bed.
The S&P rose 2.49% today.
