(April 12, 1999) -- We had plenty of rain on Sunday and this morning. It poured until it soaked into the dirt and it made the dirt sink lower in little rivers of water, but in the end it's good for the dirt and for the crops. Things are turning green now, finally, and the rain will help that along. If healthy, things always turn green if you give them enough time. How green depends on how healthy. The trees planted by my grandfather are healthy. Here's hoping this year's crops will be, too.
