Yasser El-Shimy, PhD, MBA, is a Senior Investment Analyst at The Motley Fool. Yasser is a Lead Advisor for the Global Partners scorecard where he specializes in international stocks and markets. Prior to The Motley Fool, Yasser was a director of research at Carnegie Middle East Center; a lecturer at George Washington University's Elliot School of International Affairs; and an analyst at the European Council on Foreign Relations and the International Crisis Group. He holds a B.A. and M.A. in Political Science from American University in Cairo; a PhD in Political Science from Boston University; and Executive MBA from Georgetown University.
