A new pairing could bring autonomous vehicles to the mass market.

Autonomous vehicles are beginning to hit the road in larger numbers, and companies are positioning themselves for long-term growth. But a partnership between Lyft (LYFT +0.67%) and Mobileye (MBLY 3.42%) may be a bigger deal than investors think right now.
