Data analysis specialist Palantir (NASDAQ:PLTR) announced today the expansion of its partnership with automotive engineer Stellantis (NYSE:STLA), a new five-year agreement for the use of data services and AI. Stellantis will continue to use Palantir's Foundry platform and will extend the use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools in key strategic activities across its operations. Both stocks were little changed in pre-market trading.
Stocks marked a fifth consecutive week of declines as the S&P 500 lost 2.1% to hit its longest losing streak since 2022. The NASDAQ fell 3.2%, while the Dow dropped 0.9% to end Friday in correction territory. Starting a trading week shortened by Easter, S&P 500 futures gained 0.5% in early trading, with Nasdaq futures up 0.4%.
