- Net profit grew by 15.1%, thanks to increases in subscriber counts and revenue per subscriber.
- EchoStar increased its net number of DISH Network subscribers 8.8% year over year, to 13.1 million.
- From 2005 to 2006, average monthly revenue per subscriber increased 7.6% to $62.47, while average subscriber acquisition costs inched downward 1% to $686. Lovely combo.
- Both analysts and Motley Fool CAPS players peg DISH as an outperform by a 2-to-1 margin.
