Today's market is like a mystery gift: You don't know what you're going to get. Doomsayers are building bunkers and buying gold while other investors are buying into the rally. Packaging companies aren't exciting, but that's their charm -- and two to consider today are Greif (NYSE: GEF) and Bemis (NYSE: BMS). Bemis recently bought a piece of Rio Tinto (NYSE: RIO) to expand its empire of bread sacks, meat wrappers, and hot dog buns, and if it ever takes a page from DuPont's or Dow Chemical's playbook and looks to partner with a petrochemical source, look out.
