The following video is part of our "Motley Fool Conversations" series, in which technology and media analyst Andrew Tonner and industrials editor/analyst Isaac Pino discuss topics across the investing world.
Microsoft already stands as one of the big winners of 2012, rallying more than 20% in the first two months of the year. Having lagged substantially over the last decade, the company may have finally positioned itself to tap into several key drivers of long-term tech growth over the next several years, making its best attempt to break into mobile and also positioning itself to benefit from streaming content as well. And even more interestingly, the company also made several strong comments about possibly increasing payouts to shareholders. All this leads to the question: Will 2012 be the year of Microsoft? Listen in as Andrew and Isaac discuss what investors should expect from Mr. Softy for the rest of the year.
