Earnings season has begun, but that does't mean financial results are the only news moving stocks in the health care industry. In the following video, health care bureau chief Brenton Flynn discusses three big movers in the sector, each seeing volatility for a separate reason.

Shares of Given Imaging (UNKNOWN:UNKNOWN) and Aegerion (NASDAQ:AEGR) are trading significantly higher this morning. The enthusiasm around Given Imaging has to do with a possible buyout, while for Aegerion the optimism comes after a positive outcome from yesterday's Food and Drug Administration advisory panel meeting. On the downside are shares of Align Technologies (NASDAQ:ALGN), which posted disappointing results for the third quarter, along with some other negative announcements.
