What are the most significant opportunities for Clean Energy Fuels (NASDAQ: CLNE)? In this video, Austin Smith talks with Jason Moser about the future of alternative fuel and Clean Energy's prospects in the industry. Between 2000 and 2011, the amount of natural gas used for vehicle consumption in the United States more than doubled, and Clean Energy Fuels will benefit as the adoption of natural gas becomes even more widespread. Clean Energy Fuels, with the leadership of T. Boone Pickens and CEO Andrew Littlefair, provides natural gas solutions for fleet vehicles and the trucking industry. State governments and local municipalities have been increasing their usage of natural gas vehicles, and companies such as Waste Management and Caterpillar have been shifting to the fuel as well. Clean Energy's success will be further driven by its network of natural gas fueling stations across the country, strategically placed along major trucking corridors to enable heavy-duty trucks to operate on natural gas in all key markets.
