EPS came in at $0.38. The 23 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ predicted $0.37 per share. GAAP EPS of $0.38 for Q3 were 19% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.47 per share.

For the quarter, gross margin was 66.6%, 80 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 23.7%, 310 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 20.3%, 460 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter.
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $545.2 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.45.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $2.20 billion. The average EPS estimate is $1.76.
The stock has a three-star rating (out of five) at Motley Fool CAPS, with 329 members out of 369 rating the stock outperform, and 40 members rating it underperform.
