The power of Coke’s brand has not only made the company successful. It's also changed the way consumers perceive the beverage.

Coke carries a certain amount of status, not only among Americans, but around the world as well. The company has managed to build an insanely strong brand on the back of a drink that costs around a dollar, and since the product is affordable for nearly everyone, Coke's target market is essentially every human walking the planet.
