Yahoo! (NASDAQ: YHOO) and Microsoft (MSFT 0.41%) aren't working out as search partners, and a source is telling The Wall Street Journal that Yahoo! wants to end its deal with Microsoft's Bing.
There's a problem. Yahoo! signed a 10-year deal to let Bing take over its search business three years ago. Since Microsoft can't generate the same kind of ad revenue as Google (GOOGL -1.51%), it isn't a surprise that Yahoo! is disappointed with Bing despite Microsoft's ad revenue guarantees.
