Regional gaming companies companies continue to expand their offerings despite a drop in profits. Penn National (NASDAQ:PENN) just proposed a $700 million resort in Maryland to go along with billion-dollar projects proposed by Wynn Resorts (NASDAQ:WYNN) and Caesars Entertainment (NASDAQ:CZR) in Boston.
