Nintendo (NTDOY +3.06%) faces a cruel holiday shopping season as its Wii U consoles collect dust. Gamers will turn their attention to Sony (SNE +0.55%) and Microsoft (MSFT 1.22%), and a price cut on its Wii U is inevitable at this point. 

In this video, longtime Fool contributor Rick Munarriz argues that Nintendo should come through with cheaper Wii U systems now rather than just wait until the November release of the Xbox One and PS4.
