Frontier Communications (FTR +0.00%) will pay a $0.10-a-share dividend for the third quarter, the company's board of directors announced today.
This will be the seventh quarter in a row that Frontier will have paid a dividend of $0.10 per share, starting with the first quarter of 2012. That is a little more than half the company's previous dividend of $0.1875 per share, which Frontier paid for six consecutive quarters and almost one-third of the $0.25 per share it was paying previous to that.
That $0.10 dividend will be payable on September 30 to holders of Frontier's common stock at the close of business on September 9.
