SunTrust Banks (NYSE:STI) is continuing to beam dividends down to its investors. The financial services group has declared its latest set of distributions, most notably a $0.10-per-share common stock payout. That matches the firm's previous distribution, which was dispensed in mid-June. Prior to that, the company paid half as much, or $0.05 per share.
SunTrust also declared dividends for its Series A, B, and E preferred stock. For A and B, these amount to $1,022.22 per share, while series E holders are to receive $1,468.75.
All distributions will be paid on September 16 to holders of record as of August 30.
The freshly declared common stock dividend annualizes to $0.40 per share. That yields 1.1% at SunTrust's most recent closing stock price of $34.96.
