Sony has unveiled a North American release date of November 15 for its new Playstation 4 device, or PS4. During a recent press conference at gaming trade fair gamescom, the company also announced plans to release the PS4 in Europe and Latin America on November 29.

The PS4 will feature an X86 CPU with 8 gigabytes of unified system memory. It is currently available for preorder at Walmart, Target, and Sony's official website for $399.99. The new device will have 33 available gaming titles, including Madden 25, Battlefield 4, and Call of Duty: Ghosts.

In a statement on Sony's Playstation blog, the company said it was "proud of our relationships with game creators and pleased to be working with nearly 620 developers and publishers from around the world," adding that more than 180 PS4 titles were currently in development.
