InterDigital (IDCC 0.05%) has decided to continue handing out the same regular quarterly dividend it's been dispensing since it launched shareholder payouts. The company declared a distribution of $0.10 per share, to be paid on October 23 to shareholders of record as of October 9. That amount is in line with every payout the firm has made since its first dividend payment in February 2011.
The only distribution deviating from that habit was a special payout of $1.50. This was dispensed in late December of last year.
The just-declared regular dividend annualizes to $0.40 per share. That yields 1.1% at InterDigital's most recent closing stock price of $36.96.
