New York Mortgage Trust (NASDAQ:NYMT) is rewarding the trust of its dividend investors by distributing new shareholder payouts. The real estate investment trust has declared a pair of dividends, chiefly, a $0.27 per-share common-stock distribution for its current Q3 to be paid on October 25 to holders of record as of September 23. That amount matches each of the company's five preceding payouts, the most recent of which was dispensed at the end of July.
The REIT also declared a disbursement for its series B preferred stock. This is to be $0.484375 for the July 15-October 14 period, and will be paid on October 15 to holders of record as of October 1.
The just-declared common stock dividend annualizes to $1.08 per share. That yields 16.6% at New York Mortgage Trust's current stock price of $6.51.
