JPMorgan Sets Preferred Dividends

The global financial services giant also makes a quarterly payout to investors of its common shares.

Global financial services firm JPMorgan Chase (JPM +2.55%) announced today it was paying dividends on two classes of preferred shares as follows:

5.50% Series O non-cumulative preferred stock of $137.50 per share, which is equivalent to $0.34375 per related depositary share
5.45% Series P non-cumulative preferred stock of $136.25 per share, which is equivalent to $0.340625 per related depositary share.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on December 2 to holders of record at the close of business on November 1.

The financial services giant also pays a dividend on its common shares equating to a $1.52-per-share annual dividend, yielding 2.9% based on the closing price today of JPMorgan Chase's stock.
