SolarCity (SCTY.DL) has teamed with Hewlett-Packard (HPQ 0.11%) to produce 20% of the company's headquarters net energy usage from solar panels, according to an article in Pulse 2.0.
In this "Digging for Value" video, Fool energy and materials analysts Joel South and Taylor Muckerman talk about what this means in the future for other companies, as well as SolarCity and HP, which will be able to save hundreds of millions of gallons of water a year due to the installation of about 4,000 solar panels.
