On Wednesday's Market Foolery, host Chris Hill and Motley Fool One analyst, Jason Moser, discuss Alan Mulally's latest job announcement.

On July 1, Alan Mulally stepped down as CEO of Ford, and it took him all of two weeks to find a job. Chris explains that Mulally will be joining Google's (GOOG -1.96%) board of directors. Chris wants to know what this means for the electric car? Jason's sure Mulally will be interested in the electric car, but Jason really wants to know if Microsoft bidded for him to join their board. Chris adds that he had been talked up as a successor at Microsoft. With a history in Boeing and Ford, Jason thinks that Mulally can add something fresh to Google, but did Microsoft lose out on him?
