On May 16, Ark Restaurants (NASDAQ:ARKR) released Q1 2006 earnings for the period ended April 1.

  • Fully 64.5% of the quarter's revenues came from its Las Vegas locations, but those locations suffered a same-store sales decline of 1.3%.
  • Without stock-based compensation and pre-opening and early operating losses at the new Atlantic City location, net profit would have been $415,000, or $0.12 per share.
  • Discontinued operations were the main drag on income, reducing a slight profit of $14,000 to a loss of $151,000.
