Core is a token built as an L1 blockchain compatible with Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), allowing it to run Ethereum smart contracts and dApps. The Core network is powered by the “Satoshi Plus” consensus mechanism, securing the network through a combination of delegated Bitcoin’s mining hash and delegated Proof-of-Stake (DPoS). The CORE token serves as the native token of the Core blockchain, allowing users to pay for transactions, interact with smart contracts, and participate in governance decisions.
