The investment seeks to replicate net of expenses the daily changes in percentage terms of the spot price of Brent crude oil as measured by the changes in the price of the futures contract on Brent crude oil as traded on the ICE Futures Exchange.
The interim nuclear deal with Iran is scheduled to end on July 20. With a deal unlikely, more threats to limit Iranian crude exports are likely, adding upward pressure to the Brent spot price.
The oil futures market is now much more favorable for futures-tracking ETFs.
