The Western and Southern Europe segment includes Belgium, Germany, France, United Kingdom, Italy, Netherlands, and Spain. The Northern and Eastern Europe-Central Asia segment comprises of Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, and the Baltic States, as well as the cross-border Nordic Precast Group AB and Mibau Group, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Kazakhstan, Croatia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Czechia, Slovakia, Ukraine, and Hungary. The North America consists of Canada and USA. The Asia-Pacific segment covers Bangladesh, Brunei, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Australia. The Africa-Eastern Mediterranean Basin segment includes Egypt, Benin, Burkina Faso, DR Congo, Gambia, Ghana, Liberia, Morocco, Mauritania, Mozambique, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Togo, Israel, and Turkey. The Group Services comprises of international trading activities as well as the activities in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. The company was founded by Johann Philipp Schifferdecker in 1873 and is headquartered in Heidelberg, Germany.
