<THE HARRY JONES PORTFOLIO>

(March 2, 1999) -- Irv and I took my truck in today for the usual spring work. It feels like spring. Only about three more weeks. What we didn't know was that Irv's truck would halt on us on the way back. Something serious with the clutch. We ended up walking about a mile and a half to the next property, the Miller's home. Matt Miller gave us a ride home, but already my dogs were barking. I didn't have the right shoes for walking.
Irv's truck got towed. I'm glad I always take mine in before anything happens to it. It might cost more initially, but prevention is always best. It wasn't bad to see Miller, though.
The S&P fell 0.86% on this Tuesday.
