Rich Smith

Rich Smith has been a contributing writer and analyst for The Motley Fool since 2003. Smith has also written for Yahoo! Finance, AOL DailyFinance, and served as a contributing analyst for Islero in Norway. Prior to The Motley Fool, Smith served as an international attorney practicing in the U.S., Russia, and Ukraine. He holds a B.A. in International Relations from William & Mary, a J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law, and a Language Certification from the International Institute of Russian Language & Culture. The Globe and Mail featured him in an article titled, "Ex-lawyer one of the best stock pickers since 2009."
