Prior to The Motley Fool, George was a freelance medical and science writer for various organizations, as well as an independent consultant for multiple life sciences-oriented hedge funds. In a former life, he was an evolutionary biologist, having completed two postdoctoral fellowships at Kyoto University and Illinois State University, respectively.
