On July 30, semiconductor company Qorvo (QRVO +1.98%) reported stronger-than-expected results for the first quarter of its fiscal 2025. For the period, which ended June 29, non-GAAP diluted earnings came in at $0.87 per share, surpassing management’s guidance range of $0.60 per share to $0.80 per share. Revenue landed at $887 million, exceeding the midpoint of management’s guidance range by $37 million. While the non-GAAP gross margin of 40.9% was within the expected range of 40% to 41%, the quarter showed mixed results with notable strengths and a few concerns.

Qorvo’s Business Overview
