By now, almost everyone is familiar with the big names in streaming. There's Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and Walt Disney's Disney+. But there's one big segment of the linear TV market that has yet to make a full transition to streaming: live events, particularly sports. People love seeing their favorite sports teams live -- and if they're available on broadcast TV, there's little reason to switch.

But fuboTV (FUBO -3.57%) is trying to change that.
