Why Meta Wants Microsoft's Help in Virtual Reality

Meta is spending billions on the metaverse, but its biggest announcement may have been a partnership with Microsoft.

Meta Platforms (META +0.22%) surprised the world when it announced a partnership with Microsoft (MSFT 0.59%) in VR. But the partnership makes a lot of sense for both companies.
