Uber is getting into autonomous driving, but there's a catch.

After giving up on its own autonomous driving technology years ago, Uber (UBER -2.34%) is now partnering with Alphabet (GOOG -4.08%) (GOOGL -4.02%) subsidiary Waymo to bring autonomous vehicles to Phoenix, Arizona.
