The "Next Berkshire Hathaway" Just Made a $2 Billion Move

A unique company just took a big step to set itself up to be tomorrow's biggest conglomerate.

Billionaire hedge fund manager Bill Ackman recently made a big investment in real estate developer Howard Hughes Holdings (HHH 2.54%), with the goal of expanding the company's focus and creating a "modern-day Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A 0.33%)(BRK.B 0.34%)." Howard Hughes recently announced its first major step toward realizing Ackman's vision, and it's a big one.
