Welcome back to another Foolish review of the coldest stocks, as ranked by Motley Fool CAPS. We're looking at the three worst-performing industries over the past 30 days, and your favorite short and long candidates in each.

Last week, music and video stores squealed their way to ear-splitting losses. This time, they're third, down 8.1% since the second week of May.

Today's top losers are the ethanol producers, who move up from the No. 2 spot to lead the laggards with a 13% average decline over the last 30 days.

In second place, you'll find spoiling organic food specialists such as Hain Celestial (NASDAQ:HAIN). They're down 8.8% as a group over the past month.
