There's never a dull week on Wall Street. Let's go over some of the news that will shape the week to come.
Monday
The new trading week kicks off with Red Hat
Tuesday
FSI International
FSI makes capital equipment for the microelectronics industry. You already know Nike. Only one of them is expected to turn a quarterly profit this time around, and it's the iconic company behind the signature swoosh you'll find on lots of athletic footwear and apparel.
Wednesday
TIBCO Software
Thursday
Wireless-networking specialist CalAmp
If you figured that greeting cards and stationery are dying industries in these dot-com days, think again. American Greetings continues to find a way to grow in this climate. CalAmp is projected to post a small profit, reversing a quarterly loss from a year earlier.
Friday
You can expect a quiet trading day on Friday. Folks will probably be heading home early for the holiday weekend, since the market will be closed the following Monday in observance of Christmas.
