In today's edition, Eric looks at Qualcomm's recent presentation at Goldman Sachs' technology conference. The company focused on three main opportunities in the years ahead. First, gaining more share in Microsoft products. Not only is Qualcomm now able to sell its processors for PCs once Windows 8 hits, but it's also seeing more Windows Phone volume thanks to Nokia switching to the operating system. Second, Qualcomm is pushing further into the Chinese market. That's a key opportunity since the company already sees one-third of its revenue from inside China. Third, Qualcomm took a look at why selling prices of phones aren't dropping even though growth is moving to emerging markets.
