The following video is part of our "Motley Fool Conversations" series, in which analyst John Reeves and advisor David Meier discuss topics across the investing world.

After reading Chesapeake Energy's recent investor presentation, David wonders if the stock is a good investment opportunity right now. First of all, management feels that you are getting, at the current share price, all of the company's unproved assets for free. The company also reports that it is making some fairly promising investments in the future. David thinks all of this is great, but he's still not looking to buy at the current price. There's management risk in addition to risks associated with falling natural gas prices. For now, David considers this a watchlist stock. Note: This video was shot prior to Aubrey McClendon stepping down as chairman of Chesapeake Energy.
