Verizon recently announced it wants to buy Hughes Telematics. Given recent trends, David thinks this is a great acquisition. Hughes Telematics provides connectivity to the car. Although that may seem strange, Ford CEO Alan Mulally looks at today's cars as "the ultimate mobile application." And this concept is not new. General Motors has been offering OnStar for years.
