Tesla has had a great week so far, after reporting earnings that showed it's back on track to hitting its production goals. Forget about looking at profit when evaluating Tesla, right now. It's still a young company, and one that will be defined in the short term based on whether it can hit its production goals set for its flagship Model S sedan. It remains a speculative play with many challenges to come but, if anyone can navigate this difficult landscape, it's CEO Elon Musk.
