When Apple (AAPL 0.70%) released the iPhone 4S, many of the complaints about the device were that it simply didn't bring very much new to the table. Was that Apple's fault, or have these devices reached a point where they satisfy consumer needs so well that upgrading each time a new version comes out just won't be necessary anymore?
