Procter & Gamble (NYSE:PG) has declared its latest quarterly dividend, the company detailed in a press release. It is to pay $0.562 per share of its common stock and for two classes of preferred stock. The disbursement will be made on or after Feb. 15 to shareholders of record on Jan. 18.
That payout equals that of the past three quarters. Procter & Gamble typically increases it every four periods. One year ago, the disbursement stood at $0.525 per share.
The company is one of the more reliable dividend payers on the market; it has been returning money in this form to shareholders since the late 19th century.
